Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in the preparation and management of medical malpractice cases
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
Conduct legal research and gather medical records to support case strategies
Communicate with clients, medical professionals, and experts to gather case information
Prepare exhibits and evidence for trials and hearings
File and organize legal documents in compliance with court rules and procedures
Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications
Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy development
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, with specific experience in medical malpractice cases
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, and malpractice law
Proficiency in legal research, case management, and drafting legal documents
Experience with e-filing and legal management software
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with attorneys and clients
High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
