Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and management of medical malpractice cases

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses

  • Conduct legal research and gather medical records to support case strategies

  • Communicate with clients, medical professionals, and experts to gather case information

  • Prepare exhibits and evidence for trials and hearings

  • File and organize legal documents in compliance with court rules and procedures

  • Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications

  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy development

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, with specific experience in medical malpractice cases

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, and malpractice law

  • Proficiency in legal research, case management, and drafting legal documents

  • Experience with e-filing and legal management software

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with attorneys and clients

  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
